Family and friends, greetings from both Israel and Jordan. The ports are a mere 2 miles apart. Across the bay at the tip of the Gulf of Aquaba. Very pretty and scenic, despite the McDonalds, KFC,Pizza Hut, Popeyes, you name it they are all here on the Jordanian side of the Gulf.
The BIGGEST news is the Rovers` Return…..yes from good old Corrie. Unfortunately we were too early ,
In the day for a pint. Stay tuned folks….. Suez Canal at daybreak.
Once again I set foot in beautiful Sunny Israel. Bobby and I went for a 4 hour walk along the Negev desert. Israel is still beautiful and very inexpensive. Despite the war taxes that they have to endure. We saw many gorgeous Israeli Defence force soldiers ( female ) be still our beating hearts. I add but a few photos as Internet time is restricted.
Absolutely wonderful catering, so many restaurants, Cafeterias BARS every where. Amzing mix of crew, Captain and first mate Italian after all it is an italian ship. Staff from Montenigra, croatia, India, Bali, to mention a few, Sat our designated table in dining room room for evening meal. Silver service, from the olde days. As this is my first ever pleasure cruise it is nice to be spoiled by all the service.
