As Willy Nelson Sings…..On the Road Again……

Willy made the song famous. Today we reluctantly left Port Aranasas. A wonderful 4 day stop with great weather great beaches etc. Bob the chief driver decided to forego te gPS today and take secondary roads to Austin .. Yahoo we travelled up the “CHISHOLM TRAIL” onto the Texas Trail. visions of cowboys and cattle drives. Vey very historic died roads and we did not get lost. Despite not using the GPS. Arrived mid afternoon in Austin home of the LBJ library and Lady Bird Lake. A spread out city to be sure. Photo to come as I forgot the camera in the Car ha ha ha ha . here is Sasha at the beach on our final day on Padre Island.     IMG_1727 (2)  And  on the Chisholm Trail ( hi ya to Bobby and Linda CHISHOLM.) travelling North to Austin. Bbbbbbrrrrrrr  the Canucks have sent in another cold front… the Temp dropped 35 degrees in one hour, even the old sweat of Wainwright days feels the drastic drop. Sailing along the I-35 Listening to the songs of the fifties.on Sirius radio. another amazing invention first time either of us had used Sirius. I swear there were tears in Bobby’s eyes as he belted out that old tune “Bobby’s Girl”. What an appropriate  radio station for this Bucket List Trip. Only a few miles from a chilly Corsicana Texas and the Rodeo on Saturday Yahooooooo. Hopefully the Rodeo will be well turned out;     Here we are a quick preview as we are heading back.
