Weekly Catch me up ! ! ! !

Quite a week has passed by far too swiftly. One week ago Sasha, Dougal, Bonnie and I went to a HUGE Boot sale about 100 yards from the end of our walkway. Lo and behold who do I run into ????

Does any one recognise this woman??? Have you seen her photo on a Wanted Poster? Hmmm

This was a great Saturday for sure.

Mel n Irene arrived Saturday evening and I have posted our day in Sunny Brighton previously.

The three amigos and 3 hounds spent a quiet day  touring the seaside town of Arundel so calm so peaceful by the banks of the Arundel River,

Then on their first night back in Victoria after 5 peaceful months. A fire alarm at 2 am in the apartment they were living in. Thankfully it was a smoke alarm with no injuries. IMG_4182 IMG_4183

Mel n Irene Board the Myrtle (CATCHUP)

What a great feeling knowing that my pal Mel and his frau Irene were able to drop by onboard for a few days. We have been packing in as much as we can with the hours we are together. I don’t know who was more excited to see Mel n Irene Sasha or me? She was wagging her tail like a demon, she missed Mel’s lap I guess.

As usual our visit was to be short and sweet.

The first evening of arrival it was dinner, chat and catch up time. The next day Sunday we headed of as tourists to Brighton.

Then it was off to “The Lanes” a very interesting and unique shopping area of Old Brighton. Reminiscent of the Souks of the Middle east. Loads of shops, stalls, Tarot, Palm readers and cafes. We found what I feel is absolutely wonderful a Dog Café.

On the Monday Limey and I headed to Uxbridge to turn in his VW, a sad event I am sure I saw a tear in Mel’s eye. While we were away Irene  walked about Shoreham here are a few pics from her walkabout.

So Happy to see that My Scotland will remain part of a UNITED kingdom and a partner in a GREAT Britain;

The Gordon Highlanders (my Grandad’s Regiment) play a  selection of fine Scots tunes  a fitting tribute to the past battle of Yes or No Campaigns. Scotland now moves forward.
