Mushroom Hunting

Today the dogs and I walked the riverbank, I noticed a proliferation of Funghi, Mushrooms whatever name you use. I love mushrooms grilled, fried, and in soups and gravies etc.So I took a few pics and googled UK Mushrooms.

Wow ten of the most poisonous mushrooms in the world grow in the UK.

Here are the pics I took then a link to the poison mushrooms of the UK.

I think I will continue buying mushrooms from the green grocers.

I also found they have a POISON GARDEN at Alnwick Castle. Will investigate and get back in a later post meanwhile enjoy this link:

Thanksgiving in Bonnie Scotland

Thanksgiving is a Canadian and American Tradition. Although there is no Thanksgiving Holiday in Scotland. That does not mean that I have no reason to give thanks. I thank God for my Family, My Health and my ability to travel and to enjoy life. I am Thankful for Life long friends and new friends. Thankful for my K-9 friends and especially my apprentice brothers.

Today the Trees were starting to look like Ontario in the Fall:

Not yet as deep or Vibrant as Ontario BUT tonight we are expecting a Frost. Perhaps that will fuel the change.
