Woke up early fed the beasts and fowl as they say. Then checked e mails. Mel n Irene sent some photos of their visit to San Carlos Mexico.
Mel told me that he had gone deep sea fishing and that he caught a Marlin about 8 ft long and weighing 192 lbs. I said wow!! How did you know what it weighed if you never landed it…. He said ” It had scales on the side ha ha ha ha ” funny man anyway I as a fisherman am jealous.
Meanwhile back in Banchory time for a walk wee the dugs ( not a Typo that’s how they say Dog in these parts)

Christmas is for Sharing.
Then an e mail of sad news….My friend Brother Apprentice Benny “Superfrog” LeMarbre slipped away in hospital on Christmas morning. RIP my brother.
I do believe in God and he sent this pretty wee butterfly( moth) to visit after reading of Benny’s demise.
Now a happier time Koan, Lily, Steph and Brad Skyped me.
I was so proud to see that the minute the kids opened the books I had sent them, they sat to read them. It is wonderful that Brad and Steph encourage reading.
Now my Supper a la 1944 or thereabouts.
All in all a wonderful Christmas. I hope you all had a wonderful Day.
I have been asked many times if I am spending Christmas alone?? Well physically yes I am alone, but I have Family and friends in my heart and on my mind. I think of the Great Family Christmases I have had and am content. As for Christmas Dinner, I am having a special dinner in memory of those men and women who 70 years ago were fighting in order that we could be free from a Dictatorial Mad Man Adolf Hitler. There was not a lot of Turkey available for the army of WW2. But Spam was abundant in honour and in Thanks I will have a simple Christmas meal
More to be added Christmas Day.
Christmas has arrived Hallelujah, I opened my presents from K Man and Lily Z. what a great package.
