Hi Folks, well another lovely sunny Sunday here in Banchory. The animals are all in fine fettle and Sasha and I are both happy in life. We have had a couple of chilly mornings and (YES) for you in Canada I had to scrape the ice of the windshield 2 mornings this past week. Today I did not and after reading my e mails and the CBC news still filled with Trudeau Tid Bits What to do with ourselves. I had an unexpected call from Steph Koan and Lily Z. It is always wonderful to see these guys as we chat.. It makes the distance between us much shorter xxx to them.
Chickens fed and watered Llamas fed and watered and the sheep look after them selves. So as I checked the Hothouse, I decided to harvest the tomatoes and peppers and create a Pilmuir Salsa…
Here are a few pics of the Salsa making.( thanks to my old friend Marilyn who advised me the Pics did not show I try again.)
Remove Salsa from heat while getting the fry up ready…Cool and Bottle.
Outside a sunny Sunday here are a few of the beasties.
There are 18 Sheep, and I adore them ( strange eh?) They are so soft and gentle.
Oh Yes the Secret Ingredient one table spoon of Cognac to each pint while cooling, then placed in the Jars mmmmmmm Delicioso.
