Sasha and I were finally cleared by Interpol to carry out duties as a Pet Therapy Canine:
We have since being licensed visited old folks homes in Aboyne and Laurenckirk. It is so gratifying to see the sparkle in their eyes when they see Sasha. Naturally as everyone makes a fuss of her she loves it as well.
Next week and the week after we will be with 6 other Therapy dogs at the exam area of Robert Gordon’s University in Aberdeen. We will be in one hall with the dogs as students who are sitting the exam may pat and cuddle the dogs to relax them before before writing their exam.
Sasha also Celebrated her 12th Birthday, she was upset when I told her she was 84 in Dog years.
Jasmine the cat also tried to give her reading lessons for her Birthday as she relaxed.
This about takes up to March which it currently is.So as promised We will add each and evry week at least one Blogeroo.
Greetings Dear Readers (At Least one at last count)
My deepest apologies for the lack of blogs the past few months. I must admit seeing as how I am now in a long term sit that people would no longer be interested. After the travels of Bob Sasha and I through the US of A onto the travels Sasha and I have had in the uK. As well as the travelling couple Mel n Irene. Well a new plan has emerged and I look forward to entertaining you with some travel snippets and local gossip. We have had a few interesting travels Sasha and I including a stay in London over Xmas and New Years. The London home of Nicola and David.
The house was wonderful, sitting right on the Thames, We could sit on the balcony (yes the weather was that warm) and watch the boats arriving and departing the Lock adjacent to the front yard. Sasha and I went for walks along the old tow path every day.
Hampton Court Palace was less than ½ a mile from the front door. The home of Henry the VIII and his wives. It was a magical time, at night when fireworks filled the air about 9pm to signal the closing for the day of HCP.
We even met up with an old friend from PEI and no I do not mean she is old, she is FAR younger than I. Anyway Debbie Reid met us for lunch at a terrific pub called the Robin Hood. The other couple Dave and Dorothy Pigden. They are the parents of Mark who is Michelle’s boyfriend. Michelle of course is the light of Debbie’s eye her daughter.
We also took the time to meet up with Chris Cassimer, Rowena and the Girls, Ilya and Gwen.
You may remember them from previous Blogs when they baby sat Sasha while I went to Normandy.
Last but by no means least we stayed with Paul and Alison Pereux in Worthing. Had a great meal (as usual) with them and shared there stories of their trip to Canada, and meetimg up with a mutual friend Ev Rodier.
On the 3rd of Jan it was off back up the motorway to Pilmuir, where Nicola, Dave and family had been spending Christmas. Sadly they had all the bad weather with rain and flooding.
This is instalment ONE of the new Blog don’t want people to get fed up reading Blah Blah Blah.
