Jan 19,1944 a Wednesday….. Churchill and DeGaulle meet in Marrakesh…but in Aberdeen Scotland?

Meanwhile in Scotland, suffering from the lack of supplies rationing was   in effect. This 5th year of WAR. D day would not happen for a further 6 months. But in Aberdeen at 19 Stevenson St a significant event far from Marrakesh. I Albert McRobb entered this world with the assistance of my Granma Peggy Rae, and Auntie Kathy. My Mother Christina McRobb gave birth to this chubby 8 pounder in a one room flat. No stove no central heating. Water was boiled by my auntie Kathy on the fireplace. The privy was outside. This was my family home until we immigrated to Canada 6 years later. I thank my Mom and Dad for conceiving me and for immigrating with wee brother Georgie and I to Canada.
